Following the physical assault on Pamilerin Adegoke, Nigerian musician Peruzzi has apologised to the social media influencer and vowed to be of good behaviour henceforth.

The DMW signee has come under intense criticism from Nigerians online after the victim accused him of slapping him at the weekend in Bayelsa State.

According to Pamilerin, Peruzzi attacked him because of some comments he made about him on Twitter in January regarding his loss to Teni in the Best new Artiste category at the Soundcity MVP Awards.

Peruzzi earlier confirmed the assault during a radio chat with Dotun of Cool FM saying, “I slapped him. It was wrong, but I’m a human being,” he said. “I didn’t assault him o, I wanted to have a conversation with him and it didn’t turn out well.”

Davido’s protégé has however rendered an apology to Pamilerin on micro-blogging Twitter, blaming his uncontrolled anger for his actions.

Peruzzi in a tweet said: “I did very wrong for yesterday slapping mr pamilerin, let my feelings get the best of me and I am very sorry. Apologies to mr pamilerin and also to the general public. I’d never get into such mess again. Love Only, I promise.”
