Erratic Truth Foundation congratulates NPP’s Ho West Parliamentary candidate

The Erratic Truth Foundation (ETF), a US-based non-governmental organisation (NGO), has congratulated Dr David Nfodjo, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) parliamentary candidate for the Ho West Constituency in the Volta Region for his impressive performance in the just ended 2020 parliamentary polls.

Dr Nfodjo secured the bid to represent NPP in the Ho West Constituency after winning the party's parliamentary primaries with 397 votes in September 28, 2019.

Even though he did not win the parliamentary elections in the Ho West contest, Dr Nfodjo pulled an impressive performance, closing the NDC’s votes in the constituency.

He secured 10,096 votes to place second in the contest while the NDC’s Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah obtained 28,538 votes to retain the seat.

The President of the North America branch of ETF, Mr Jeffrey Boham, said in a statement that "Dr. Nfodjo and the NPP winning 25 per cent of the votes in a traditional NDC stronghold for the first time is proof that Dr. Nfodjo's message and programmes for the constituency have resonated with the people - particularly the youth."

Mr. Boham urged Dr. Nfodjo, who is a founding member of the ETF to continue with his charitable and development-oriented programmes to ensure that the constituency continues to receive a fair share of development resources regardless of the party in power.

He said ETF would continue to support Dr Nfodjo’s vision to develop his constituency and by extension, Ghana.
