Woyongo involved in vehicular accident

Former Minister of Interior, Mark Woyongo was involved in a vehicular accident on Sunday near Mampong in the Ashanti Region.

He was said to be returning from the Upper East Region after partaking in the Upper East Regional executive elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The vehicle reportedly somersaulted a number of times and landed in a ditch, injuring the occupants, Classfmonline reported.

The injured persons were taken to the Mampong Hospital where Mr Woyongo and three others were treated and discharged.
