He said the knapsack spraying machines would help the farmers to cultivate vast fields of land since the machine would reduce the cost of production and labour.
He said the NGO would liaise with some financial institutions to get credit facilities for the farmers to enable them farm all year round.
Alhaji Farouk said many of the farmers in the area are unable to cultivate large acreages of land due to lack of capital, hence the need to provide financial assistance for the farmers.

He, however, advised the farmers to take good care of the machines, noting that the machines would go a long way to reduce poverty among the farmers in the municipality.
The farmers were also taken through how to use the machines effectively and efficiently.
PPR is a social intervention NGO with a focus to help reduce poverty among the vulnerable and marginalised ones, particularly in rural communities in northern Ghana, especially the Northern Region.
