No need for new voters register - Akua Donkor

The founder and presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor, on the second day of the voters register forum,said her party did not support the call for a new voters register.

She stated that the current register should be used for at least 10 years before it is changed.

According to Madam Donkor, a lot of minors are in the voters register because Telcos require some of credible identification from them before they can gain access to goods and services provided by these multinational companies.

She urged the opposition new patriotic party to forget about a new voters register for now.
