Imexco Ghana to launch Hennessy

Imexco Ghana Limited, official distributor of Hennessy in Ghana, has stated that the event would be a private affair with only strictly invited people.
There are different brands of Hennessy, including Privilege VSOP, Henessy Black, Henessy Paradis and Hennessy X. O.
Some Hennessy bottles have become the collector’s items in several parts of the world due to their peculiar shapes or label designs.
Ghana would be the first West African country to have the Futura brand on her market.
Reports indicate that discerning cognac drinkers are ‘fishing out’ for invitations to the Futura launch and possibly own one of the unique bottles.
There is a lot of buzz in international design circles about the Futura bottle because it was designed by the acclaimed New York-based graffiti artist called Futura.
He burst onto the art scene in New York in the early 1970s and gained recognition for brandishing his unique style of abstract graffiti on the walls and trains of the city.
“For this bottle, I wanted to create art that was completely unique yet true to myself, and I think the result is art that complements both the bottle and the cognac.
“As a visual object, the bottle fits right in with my artistic world. It was a truly great creative collaboration with Henessy,” Futura has been quoted as saying about the bottle he designed.
Imexco Ghana sources have revealed that Bola Ray of Joy FM will be the emcee for the September 26 launch event.
The sources also pointed out that the general public should look out for an opportunity to win an invitation to the launch.
A highlight of the launch would be an on-the-spot graffiti art contest for three Accra-based artists: David Bethmann, Prince Kojo-Hilton and Ram Ankh.
