Pastor Ato Kessie, the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church pastor whose five family members perished in an inferno says he feels empty without his wife.

Five family members of Pastor Kessie, including his wife, his three-week-old baby boy and his 65-year-old mother-in-law, were burnt to death in a fire that engulfed their home at Dansoman Akokofoto in Accra.

In a soul-touching tribute to his wife at the funeral of the five victims, he said one of his biggest regrets was that he could not say goodbye to his wife who was a pillar in his life.

"It is hard to accept your sudden death my dearest lover especially when I didn’t have the chance to say goodbye," Pastor Kessie said emotionally, adding "I wish you can hear me but you cannot."
