Ghana will be the winner — Togbui Amuzu

Togbui AmuzuGhana will once again be the toast of the entire world and will be used as an example of a burgeoning democracy in Africa after the August 29, 2013 Supreme Court verdict on the 2012 election petition, Professor Togbui Amuzu, a spiritual scientist, has stated.

He said the petition was a God-given opportunity that Ghanaians would seize to prove to the world that although some countries in Africa were in turmoil because of elections, Ghana was scoring another excellent point.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Prof. Amuzu proclaimed that, “God has already ordained that Ghana’s democracy will be strengthened. Nothing untoward will happen in the aftermath of August 29, 2013. Ghana will be victorious again”.

He stated that to the surprise of war mongers and doomsday soothsayers, there would be total understanding between the petitioners and the respondents, irrespective of who would be declared the winner of the landmark case.

The nine Supreme Court judges will today give their final verdict on a petition filed by the 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and his running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and the National Chairman of the party, Mr Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey.

The respondents in the case are President John Dramani Mahama, the Electoral Commission (EC), organisers of the elections, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which provided the platform for President Mahama as its presidential candidate.

Prof. Amuzu stated that Ghanaians should not allow what he described as “any evil spirits to sow the seed of misunderstanding and chaos” but must be watchful and not hesitate to inform the security agencies of people who would want to foment trouble.

He also appealed to the security agencies to rise to the occasion to deal ruthlessly with those who would want to use the occasion to misbehave.

To the politicians, Prof. Amuzu urged those who would be victorious to be cautious in their celebration and those who would lose to take it in good faith.
