Mode of operation

Mrs Amoako–Atta said The Joy Train was established in 2016 with the aim of mobilising resources to assist the needy in the society.

She explained that there are persons who have been blessed by God with resources and have residual household items that they would like to dispose of either for free or for a normal price but may be preoccupied to do so conveniently.

That, she added, The Joy Train serves as a bridge between owners of such disposable household items and the less endowed persons who need household items at no cost or are prepared to pay a token price for such items.
