Charisma Ladies holds conference September 12, 2018

Three international speakers, Rev Mrs Lilian Sanogo of Ivory Coast, Rev Mrs Stella Ajetomobi and Rev Dr Chidinma Nwama, both from Nigeria, will be at this year's convention of the Charisma Ladies of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministries (CEM) which kicks of on September 12, 2018.

The Charisma Ladies is the Womens' Ministry of CEM, and this year's convention will be held on the theme: Pressing on to Greatness.

The theme for the Charisma Ladies convention has been taken from the broader theme of CEM for the year, which is Greatness.

Encouragement

In an interview, Rev Jane Mensah, who leads the Charisma Ladies, expressed the hope that the speakers would bring encouragement to women in the country.

"These are women endowed with the Word of God. These are women who know the word of God and apply it in their family lifes and their businesses."

"They stand as examples in society and we are inviting them because we want them to be partners to our women," she said.

The President of the Charisma Ladies said a lot of women were going through various challenges, with some of them in dispair, but the three speakers, who were women of value and character would strengthen women, particularly those facing diverse forms of challenges so that they do not give up.

"They are coming to encourage Ghanaian women that: you can make it! You do not have to lower your standards to make it as a woman. You can stand tall to make it!"

Worth examples

Rev Jane Mensah said the meeting of the Charisma Ladies yearly was an opportunity to raise and equip women with dignity, with the confidence of managing their spiritual lives, family and businesses, for them to be worthy role models in society.

With that, she expressed the hope that the next generation of adults would have worthy examples to learn from to to ensure the family values that bring about Godly homes, Godly families and strong societies.

Growth all round

A member of the planning committee convention, Mrs Stella Afriyie Ankrah said the theme was an expression of the desire of the Charisma Ladies to experience expansion and growth in all areas of their lives.
