GOSA presents GH¢15,000 to alma mater

GHANATA Old Students Association (GOSA) has presented a cheque for GH¢15,000 to its alma mater, Ghanata Senior High School, at a ceremony at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region to support it in the upcoming National Science and Maths Quiz competition.


The presentation was in response to an appeal made by the school to the association.

The National President of GOSA, Mr Roosevelt Odai Otoo, who made the presentation, said the money was to be used to purchase desktop computers, laptops, books and other education materials.

It would also serve as an incentive for the team's coaches who he said had been excellent in training contestants for the quiz, especially during a regional competition held in February this year, where they emerged the victors.

“I am convinced this will raise standards among the students and also improve on the quality of education in the school,” he added.
