The presentation was made under a project dubbed: “Say yes  to Education Campaign”, which seeks to motivate, encourage and mentor schoolchildren in deprived and remote communities in the country. This is done by the organisation through guidance and counselling, and donation of stationery to support the education of community schools.

Erudite Consult is made up of a group of students and graduates who have come together to join forces and intellectual abilities to build a generation of students and pupils with good moral and academic excellence.

Making the presentation, the Project Officer in charge of Education, Mr Alexander Kani Nti, said there was the need to support quality education as a group or individuals, since the government could not do it alone.

The Project Co-ordinator, Mr Theophilus Kwarteng, emphasised that the exercise books were not to tackle the many difficulties that schoolchildren were facing but to motivate and encourage them to overcome some of their challenges in order to excel.

A member of the group, Dr Michael Nsowah, encouraged the pupils not to be discouraged by the rural environment in which they found themselves, but to work hard to excel, bearing in mind that they were in competition with other schoolchildren in the country.

He cautioned them against teenage pregnancy, saying that the girl-child in particular must give priority to her education.
