New York: Selina Beb showcases at Columbia Africa Conference fashion show

Multiple-award-winning Ghanaian fashion brand, Selina Beb participated in the 19th Annual Columbia Africa Conference’s Fashion Extravaganza held at Columbia University Business School in New York recently.

The conference was an occasion for top business executives, thought leaders, and policymakers to discuss key topics affecting the African continent while providing a rich learning and networking experience for speakers, businesses, and attendees alike.

It was designed to help reflect on Africa’s history and current momentum to build the future while celebrating the progress made and discussing innovative solutions to create the Africa we want.

Sharing her experience in showcasing and promoting Ghana, Selina Bebaako-Mensah CEO and Creative Director of the brand said: “Promoting Ghana and telling our story is something I take pride in and having Selina Beb showcase our works at an African conference in the USA is one of the best ways to promote Ghana.”

Aside from being one of the few designers selected to participate in the fashion show, the brand also participated in a number of fashion events in New Jersey and Maryland.

Selina Beb specialises in clothing and top-of-the-range accessories for men, women and children. The products range from authentic handmade quality bags and clutches, trendy outfits, comfortable footwear and slippers, beautiful jewelry and modern accessories all produced in Ghana.

Selina Beb was recently featured in Meta’s ‘Made by Africa, Loved by the World’ campaign which was aimed at amplifying the voices and stories of people and businesses from across Africa that are impacting the world.
