Unique Child Academy holds end-of-year programme

The CEO of Unique Child Academy, Mrs Cecilia Boateng Mensah, has advised children to put a stop to their bad behaviour and turn over a new leaf as they enter the new year.

She called on parents to show interest in the activities of their children both at home and in school to be able to address the challenges that confront children.

Mrs Boateng Mensah gave the advice when she spoke at the nine lessons and carols service at the school in Accra, to end the term last year.
The service, which was on the theme: “Jesus is the reason for the season,” was used to remind children about the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ and the need for all children to be of good character.

The schoolchildren, who said they were excited to be part of the service, wore beautifully designed African print clothes. Some of them also wore colourful clothes to depict the mood of the season.
The pupils sang carols, read the Bible, preformed a nativity play and danced ballet and salsa.
