Sports dominate fun games

Sports and games dominated activities at the annual Junior Graphic Fun Fair held at the Aviation Social Centre.

The activities which included five-aside soccer competition, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, ludo, oware, lime and spoon race and the playing of draughts, were the main attraction at this year’s event.

The Emmanuel Excellence Academy won the Soccer Competition while Rene Education Centre came second with First Class Montessori Lyceum in third place. In table tennis, the King and Queen International School came first; Frus Academy, second followed by Trinity Academy.

In the lime and spoon race for girls, United Family Academy took the first position followed by Trinity Academy and Frus Academy in second and third positions respectively. In the boys event, United Family Academy came first; First Class Montessori Lyceum, second and then the Accra Boys 106th Brigade, third.

In the basketball competition, Acropolis School defeated Trinity Academy in the final to win the competition. Accra Boys 106th Brigade came third. United Family Academy won two straight sets against King and Queen to become champions of the volleyball competition.

In the draught contest, the Perpetual Help School came first while United Family Academy took the second position. The King and Queen School came first, United Family, second and Perpetual Help School, placed third in the oware game.
