Pulpit winner calls on Asantehene

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, congratulating the winner of The Pulpit Competition, Miss Godslove Ntsiwah Owusu-Ansah, when she paid a courtesy call on him at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

The Pulpit, a Christian preaching competition, was organised and hosted by TV3. It aims at promoting and encouraging children to develop their talents as future preachers.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II commended Miss Owusu-Ansah for her talent and said that the honour was not only for her but also  her parents, church, school  and Asanteman in general.

He called on parents to commit themselves to the education of their children since that was the best legacy they could leave for their children.

Miss Owusu-Ansah attends Blessing International School and worships at the Freeman Methodist Church at Tafo Nhyiaeso in Kumasi.
