The school defeated St Lisberth International School 2-1 to lift the winner’s trophy.

In addition to the trophy, the team has won an all-expense paid trip to Brazil to watch the World Cup tournament in June this year.

Eight schools —Tema Regular Baptist School, Kotobabi Five Primary School, British International School, Jack and Jill School, Salem Educational Complex, St Lisberth International School, Queen of Peace Academy and St Peter’s School—made it to the grand finale of the competition. They were selected from Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi and Accra.

The eight finalists featured children who were 13 years or below and were selected from a total of 56 schools which participated in the contest.

The OMO Fantastic Five Football Challenge is an initiative of Unilever Ghana Limited to bring to light the benefits associated with the philosophy of allowing children the freedom to explore the world through play.

Top football personalities, celebrities, schoolchildren, teachers and parents watched the final match.

The children displayed some rare soccer skills and talents during the competition.
