Okine, defeated Michael Dosoo 6-1, 6-1 in the semi-final before crowning it with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Lameck Bagerbaseh.

"I am not surprised that he won because Richard is a very good player.

He started playing tennis at age six. I discovered his talent during one of the junior competitions and I have been training him since that time", said Coach Yahaya Macauley, trainer of Richard.

On her part, Cindy, who started the game on a low point, managed to get her opponent to succumb to her dictates before winning the ultimate prize.
