The Assistant Editor of the Junior Graphic, Ms Victoria Odoi, has inaugurated the Immaculate Heart R/C Basic School Junior Graphic Fan Club at Christian Village in Achimota.

The club has a six-member executive to steer its affairs.  They are Priscilla Ankrah, President; Bernard Tsatsa, Vice President; Portia Sam, Secretary; Neizer Asante, Assistant Secretary; Tophic Abdullah, Male Organiser and Clara Markla, Female Organiser.

The Headteacher of the school, Mr Matheno Kofi Gbegble, said because of the importance of the Junior Graphic newspaper in the lives of the students,  it was  compulsory for all JHS  students so they could learn from the Chief Examiner’s Comments and Speak Good English column, among others.

He acknowledged that although it was long over due, he was happy that the club had finally been inaugurated because that would give the school the opportunity to participate in this year’s National Junior Graphic Fan Club Spelling competition.

As is the tradition with every Junior Graphic Fan Club inauguration, a quiz competition was organised for the students and JHS One, Two, and Three were represented by Cindy Klah, Doris Anugah, James Nyantakyi, respectively. At the end of it all, James Nyantakyi of JHS Three emerged winner, Cindy in JHS One took the second position while Doris, JHS Two, placed third.
