Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Founder of Mercy Schools Limited, Mrs Nortey, said the donation was to exhibit her love for the disabled and underprivileged children.

The Headmaster of the school, Mr Nicholas Gbilla, called on the public to show love to the disabled and orphans by spending time with them and also giving them gifts to make them feel happy always.

"Regardless of how small the gifts may be, I want to urge everyone to cultivate the habit of giving to the underprivileged ones in our society because there are always people who need our love and care,” he said.

The Director of Echoing Hills Village, Rev. Lawrence Lamina, expressed his gratitude to the staff and students of Mercy Schools Limited for the donation.

He said the payment of electricity bills and the provision of food for the children were the major challenges faced at the facility.

He, therefore, appealed to the government and individuals to assist the institution to ensure that the children led a better life.

Echoing Hills Village is an institution that caters for 95 children with 40 of them being disabled while the rest are orphans.
