The Ga Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church Ghana (PCG) has initiated a move to educate the younger generation on the history of the church.

It has started with organising trips to historic landmarks of the church in Ghana under a programme dubbed: "Heritage Trail."

It forms part of the centenary celebration of the church.

The first trip came off successfully on March 26, 2022 for Zone one, which saw children and junior youth in the Presbytery from Teshie, Nungua and La touring places such as the Missionary Landing Site at the Christianborg Castle, Osu, Abokobi and Sesemi where they visited the slave houses and dungeons and the Zimmerman Congregation.

The train stopped at Akropong where history unfolded for the young Presbyterians as they relived the missionary stories by visiting places such as the house of Andreas 'Osiadan' Riis and the Christ Congregation.

The next trip is scheduled for April 16, 2022 for Accra New Town, Adabraka and Nima.
