She said parents should not only provide children with their needs but must also visit their schools to find out about their progress.

Reverend Mrs Anaba said this during the fourth graduation ceremony of the school at Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.

In all, 115 pupils graduated from the pre-school and Primary Six.

Mrs Anaba was not happy with the attitude of some parents who attacked teachers for disciplining their children for unruly behaviour and said the school would not support such behaviour.

She pleaded with parents to follow laid down procedures when they had problems with teachers rather than attack them.
