Fire destroys Kwahu Abetifi Presby SHS
The authorities of the Kwahu Abetifi Presbyterian Senior High School have appealed to government to support the renovation of the school’s boys dormitory.

The Headmistress of the school, Mrs Charlotte Asante, who made the appeal, revealed to the Junior Graphic that if the dormitory was not renovated urgently the school would not be able to admit fresh students in September for the next academic year.
This follows the recent fire outbreak which engulfed the dormitory, destroying six of the nine rooms of the two-storey block.
The fire reportedly started at about 8.30 p.m when the students were at prep.
The students, who had to put up at the school’s dining hall that fateful day, had all their belongings such as clothing, trunks and books completely destroyed.
Consequently, the school’s authorities sent the affected students home to get new clothing, books and other items to support their upkeep at school.
