Falsyd Foundation donates to two orphanages

The Falsyd Foundation School has donated various items to the Christ Faith Foster Home and the Potter’s Village as part of the school’s 30th anniversary celebration.

The items donated to the homes included toiletries, detergents, assorted fruit drinks and confectionery.
Others were five bags of clothing, three packs of toothpaste, a bag of toys, 97 bags of sachet water, two boxes of biscuits and exercise books.

The donation was made to the Homes towards their upkeep and to meet the needs of the children.

Presenting the items, the Academic Headmaster of the Falsyd Foundation School, Mr John Kennedy Addo-Sunu, said the Christ Faith Foster Home was chosen because it was close to the school and it had always been the wish of the school to show love to the inmates of the home.

“The Potter’s Village was not part of the visit but when our attention was drawn to their plight we decided to assist the children,” he added.

He urged individuals, institutions and organisations to assist the needy in society.

The Father and teacher of the Christ Faith Foster Home, Mr Amoako-Adu, and the Founder and President of the Potter’s Village, Dr Mrs Jane Irina Adu, both experessed their appreciation to the school for their assistance and kind gesture.
