The items included four bags of rice, two bags of sugar, two cartons of Milo, three cartons of milk, two boxes of Gino Mackerel, four bags of toilet tissues and three gallons of cooking oil.

Making the presentation, a client service executive of the company, Ms Lucy Asieduaa Appiah, said the gesture formed part of the company's corporate responsibility to society.

“We all need to show love and reach out to the needy in society. We want to use this opportunity to make the children feel loved, cared for and also to encourage them to look forward to a bright future,” she said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the assistant headmaster, Mr Frederick Tetteh, said the school needed instructional materials and called on benevolent organisations to come to their aid.
