Kumasi Girls Senior High School (Kugiss) managed to break the monopoly of T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School (TI Amass SHS) after winning the girls' division of the Cowbell Ashanti Regional Inter Schools Super Zonals competition.
However, TI Amass boys proved too powerful for Prempeh College and Opoku Ware School as they managed to win their tenth consecutive title in the boys' category.

Kumasi Girls scored 162 points to win the Girls title with TI Amass (152 points) and St Louis (91 points)SHS coming second and third respectively.
TI Amass coasted to victory in the Boys category with 135 points while Prempeh College (78 points) and Jachie Pramso SHS (64 points) came second and third respectively.
