The school, which started with five pupils and three teachers, now has  430 pupils from the creche to junior high school Form Two.

Madam Felicia Benefo, the Headmistress, explained that the school was established by the Adabraka Official Town congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana to cater for the intellectual and moral needs of children and those from the surrounding communities.

She was hopeful that when the school presented its first batch of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates next year, they would excel because they would have been well-prepared.

The Chairperson, Mrs Gloria A. Kwakye, added that even though the school had enjoyed a lot of support from well-wishers, there was still the need for more support.

A Director of Education of the Ghana Education Service, Mrs Mercy Obeng-Akrofi, appealed to all to work in harmony  to help achieve the aims for which the school was established.

She advised the students to study hard in order to become responsible leaders in future.
