Accra Academy holds 83rd Speech Day

Accra Academy has held its 83rd Speech and Prize-giving Day on the theme: “Preparing our youth for the future- the role of ethics,”

The President and Lead Consultant of Leaders and Mentors International, Mr Moses Cofie, advised students of the school to be accountable wherever they found themselves.

According to him, the country is facing some serious challenges and for the youth to lead effectively, they must be mindful of what it took to get to the top.

Speaking on the theme, Mr Cofie said, “in order to be successful, one must be disciplined, show competence and capabilities in all endeavours.”

The Headmaster of the school, Mr Samuel Ofori-Adjei, said everyone must collaborate effectively to overcome the problem of indiscipline, which is eating into the moral fibre of the country.

About 50 students and staff members were honoured for their hard work. 

Invited guests were treated to cultural performances and songs by the students.
