Division One League side Nkoranza Warriors have transferred three of their players to Swedish second-tier side Jönköping Södra IF.
The players are midfielder Aaron Donker (18), striker Emmanuel Boateng Agyenim, (19) and defender Sadick Abubakari (21).
They signed four-year contract each which runs until 2023.
The transfer of the players forms part of a three-year collaboration between the Nkoranza Warriors and Jonkoping to nurture and develop young talents from Ghana and further transfer them to some European countries to continue their football career.
"After announcing the transfer of three of our players to Jonkoping Sodra If, the players have agreed on a four-year contract each and it runs until 2023," a statement on the club's Facebook handle read.
Sports Manager of Jönköping Södra IF, Andreas Jankevics expressed his excitement after securing the services of the three players.
“We are happy that the guys are finally here with us. There was too much bureaucracy which delayed us but finally we have them. Sadick is a fast-paced mid-back with good feet, Aaron is a strong midfielder and Boateng is quick upfront and they will help our team a lot,” he told the club’s website.
“The recruitment of these three players is part of the rebuilding that we started last fall,” he added.
