Malian midfielder Aissata Traore has joined Turkish women's topflight side Beşiktaş JK on loan for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old midfielder joined Beşiktaş JK from Malian side Super Lionnesses. She becomes the second Malian to earn a contract overseas after Bassira Toure who recently signed for Spanish top-flight side Malaga from Mali's AS Mande.
Aissata is expected to team up with Camerounian star Henriette Akaba at the Istabul-based club which sit second on the league log with 17 points from eight matches.
She scored the lone goal in their 1-2 loss to Cameroun during one of their group games at the 2018 Total Women’s Africa Cup of Nations held in Ghana.
