Minigolf: Nutterz Putterz seek to consolidate lead

Nutterz Putterz lead Kama Club by three points

Nutterz Putterz Club will seek to maintain their lead on the top position of the 2019 Caesars Court Minigolf Clubs League when the competition enters the fourth week tomorrow (Sunday) at the Caesars Court minigolf course at Ridge, Accra. Tee-off is at 3pm.

Last week Nutterz Putterz beat off a strong challenge from Kama Club to consolidate their position on the summit of the log with 42 points, followed closely in second place by Kama with 39 points.

Both clubs have been very competitive and turning the league into a two-horse race heading into a potential showdown in the final homestretch on December 15 when the competition climaxes at the Caesars Court.

In the third week last Sunday, Enock Nyarko of Nutterz Putterz scored lowest for his two games for the Best Stroke Play, while Golden Putters duo of Makafui Agbenoka and Arthure Somasse logged best combined score to win the Best Duo prize.

So far, all the five clubs have played 18 games with Nutterz Putterz winning 11, Kama Club (10), Golden Putters (8), Power Club (7) and  Black Putters winning five (5).

A total of 150 games are expected to be honoured when the competition climaxes on December 15 when the winners are crowned with other outstanding individual players honoured at a ceremony at the plush Caesars Court.

The Caesars Court Clubs League is organised by the Ghana Minigolf Federation with endorsement by the African Minigolf Federation and World Minigolf Sport Federation.
