Rashid Iddi is back at Inter Allies as head coach

Zylofon Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have appointed Rashid Iddi as the first team head coach, the club has announced.

Inter Allies announced on the club's website on Tuesday that Iddi had rejoined the team from Cape Coast-based female side, LadyStrikers FC.

"Inter Allies wish to announce that, coach Rashid Iddi has returned to the club as head coach of the First Team.”

“He will fill-in the gap and has started working with team in training. Other departments of the Technical Team will be announced in due course," the club said in a statement on its website.

Iddi's appointment comes two weeks after the 'Eleven is to One' parted ways with Japanese trainer, Kenichi Yatsuhashi. He returns to the Tema-based side having previously worked with them as assistant coach during the 2014/2015 league season.

The former Ghana international also had a short stint at the club during the 2015/2016 season where he worked together with the late head coach, Herbert Addo.

Inter Allies vice president, Delali Eric Senaye, was optimistic Iddi would succeed in his job. “We are happy to have Rashid back and we know he will do a good job.”
