The management of Accra hearts of Oak have announced the departure of Coach Seth Hoffman from the club.
Coach Hoffman took charge of the club in June 2018 following the dismissal of Henry Wellington who supervised the club's consistent poor run of form during the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League season.
Coach Hoffman, 48, was reassigned as deputy coach after Kim Grant was named as Technical Director in November 2018.
However, a statement on the club’s official Twitter handle on Wednesday, January 23 read: “The Management of Hearts of Oak wishes to inform the sporting public, especially football fans that Coach Seth Hoffman is no longer with the Club. We thank him for his services and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
When he was employed in June, Coach Hoffman’s side continued training daily, ostensibly to improve upon the fitness of the players, although the league was on break.
He was impressive, considering the team’s performances in the various friendly games played under his watch.
Under his tutelage, Hearts won 2-0 against Liberty Professionals in a friendly at the Carl Reindorf Park at Dansoman, won 2-1 against Bechem United and drew 0-0 with Susubribi FC at the Rovers Park at Old Tafo-Akyem.
They also recorded a 3-0 win against Bechem United and 2-0 victory over Liberty Professionals both in friendly matches.
Coach Hoffmann previously had a stint with Kpando Heart of Lions and Wa All Stars.
