The Ghana Premier League is ranked the 21st best in Africa, according to eurotopteams.com

The ranking was done based on points amassed in the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) inter-club competitions in the last decade.

Within the last decade, Berekum Chelsea, Medeama SC, Aduana Stars, Ashantigold and Kumasi Asante Kotoko are the only Ghanaian clubs which have made it to the group stages of either the CAF Champions League or the CAF Confederation Cup.

Ghana earned 372 points in that regard and lies 21st out of 55 African leagues.

Top of the list is the Tunisian Ligue 1 followed by the Egyptian Premier League. Morocco, Algeria and DR Congo follow in that order.
