Dreams FC have announced setting up another feeder team, Dreams Tamale, to be based in the Northern regional capital to cater for the three regions in the northern belt and the Brong Ahafo Region.
The Dawu-based club, established in 2009, currently operates two youth teams – Still Believe FC (in the Greater Accra Division Two league) and In God We Trust (a juvenile side at Dawu in the Eastern Region).
“This is in fulfilment of one of the directives by the board in its last meeting of 2018. The grand idea is to offer a football institution with the ideals and values of Dreams FC to develop talents primarily in the northern parts of Ghana,” said a statement by Dreams FC yesterday.
Dreams FC president, Mr Mohammed Jiji Alifoe, is expected to spearhead Dreams Tamale.
According to the Executive Director of Dreams FC, Mr Kurt Edwim Simeon Okraku, his organisation decided to set up a feeder side to tap into the huge talent reservoir in the northern zone of the country.
