Asante Kotoko's Justice Blay scored the league's fastest goal so far

Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed scored the first hat-trick of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season as his side recorded a commanding 4-0 victory over Inter Allies at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro, on Sunday.

The hat-trick shot Mohammed to the top of the top scorers’ chart after the opening week which recorded 25 goals in nine matches.

The league’s second highest goal scorer is Emmanuel Ocran who scored a brace in Dreams FC’s 4-1 thumping of King Faisal at Dawu. It was the highest-scoring match of the weekend.

As many as 20 others, including Asante Kotoko’s Justice Blay who scored the fastest goal of the season after just four minutes, have a goal each to their credit.

Red card woes: Suraj Ibrahim of Elmina Sharks

However, Elmina Sharks’ Suraj Ibrahim made the wrong kind of record as the first player to be shown the red card this season during their 0-2 defeat to Bechem United.
