2019/2020 WPL: Ophelia Amponsah leads scorers' chat with six goals

Ampem Darkoa Ladies striker Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah has taken the lead on the scorers' chat with six goals at the end of Match Day Two in the 2019/2020 Ghana Women’s Premier League (WPL) season.

Ophelia, a graduate of the Tuorbodom Senior High School, scored four goals in their opening match against Ashtown Ladies and added two more in their Match Day Two fixture against Northern Ladies.

For her exploits, the 16-year-old player has won the NASCO Woman of the Match award twice in the competition.

Following with four goals is Northern Ladies' Abdul Rahama Barikisu while Ernestina Tetteh of Halifax Ladies has two goals.
