Black Meteors midfielder, Yaw Yeboah has assured Ghanaians of victory in their game against Gabon to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
The Black Meteors will welcome Gabon's Under 23 side for the first leg of their qualifiers for the CAF Under 23 Tournament which also serves as the first stage of qualifiers for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Speaking to the press after training at the Accra Stadium on Tuesday, the enterprising player said there was no pressure on the team to win, but they will go all out to deliver the needed result.
“We are ready, we are confident of winning. We just have to go on the field, play, win and celebrate with the fans. We are very sure of victory” he said.
For him, it is the dream of every athlete to make it to the Olympic Games promising to work hard to lift the flag of Ghana high at the Tokyo Games.
Yeboah has made several appearances for the Ghana U-20 team. He was named the Most Valuable Player in the 2015 Africa U-20 Championship after he scored two goals.
In July 2018, the graduate of Right to Dream Academy signed a three-year contract with Segunda División team CD Numancia.
