FIFA referee, Joyce Appiah, has been given the nod to handle to handle Sunday's women's Special Competition final between Ampem-Datkoa Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra.
Joyce, who was outstanding throughout the tournament, will be assisted by three other FIFA referees to ensure a success climax of the thrilling competition.
Her first and second assistants are Beatrice Thaud and Alice Chakule, while Delight Alorbu is the fourth referee.
All four referees have the FIFA badge.
According to Naa Odofoley Nortey, a member of the GFA Normalisation Committee in charge of the women's competition, all is set for a befitting final on Sunday to end the smooth eleven-week championship.
She said apart from the unfortunate assault of FIFA referee Theresa Bremansu by some Prisons Officers in their game against Ampem-Darkoa Ladies at the Sunyani Army Park last Sunday, the competition was incident-free.
She said many dignataries, including the US Ambassador to Ghana, have been invited to grace Sunday's final.
She, therefore, appealed to soccer fans to come and witness the best of women's football at the El-Wak Stadium.
