Ghanaian left-back, Baba Rahman, is on the verge of completing a loan move to Turkish side Göztepe after reaching agreement with Chelsea.

Rahman who signed a five-year deal worth initial £14million with English club Chelsea in 2015 from Ausburg fell out of the perking order with the London club.

He was subsequently shipped on loan to Bundesliga club, Schalke O4 in 2016 but recurrent injury saw the 24-year-old former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player playing a limited role in the for the Gelsenkirchen side.

However, it appears the left-back has found favour with the Turkish club who are willing to offer him play time as they consider the Ghana international as an option for their left-back role.

Earlier speculations had linked the player to several clubs in Spain including Villarreal and Girona as well as clubs in France reportedly interested in him.

Rahman whose career started with Dreams FC has been out of the national team for close to two years and he would hope to use this loan spell to revive his form and a possible recall into the Black Stars for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON) scheduled for Egypt in June.
