Former champions, Hasaacas Ladies, will seek to make amends in the Ghana Women’s League when they face Police Ladies in a Match Day 2 fixture after starting their campaign on a losing note.
The Women’s Special Cup champions lost 0-1 to Samaria Ladies last week and their regional derby against Police Ladies happens to be the top liner of the Southern Zone fixtures.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, the newly promoted Sports Director of the Ghana Police Service, Chief Inspector Douglas Attuquaye said they would continue to explore all the tactics used in overpowering LadyStrikers 4-1 in their first game when they faced the ‘Giants of the West.
According to Chief Inspector Attuquaye, even though they had taken off every well, playing Hasaacas Ladies at the La town park would be very difficult looking at their experience and the crowd.
He also said Hasaacas Ladies were very a good side with high motivation, but Police Ladies were poised for victory with their new coach, Abu Tabusco.
Immigration Ladies and LadyStrikers, after losing their first games, clash for their first three points, while Samaria Ladies will try to register a second win against Halifax Ladies.
The last game in the Southern Zone will be between Sea Lions and Soccer Intellectuals.
