Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar will miss out on a £2.7million salary increase after being omitted from the ten-man shortlist for FIFA's The Best award.
The winger would have received the bonus had he been named on the shortlist, but he was overlooked, as reported by AS.
Neymar, who joined PSG from Barcelona two years ago, earns around €600,000 (£548,000) per week.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane was amongst the players shortlisted for The Best award, with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk also included.
Unsurprisingly, Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona's Lionel Messi also made the cut, along with Neymar's PSG team-mate Kylian Mbappe.
New Barcelona signing Frenkie de Jong is also on the shortlist along with his Holland team-mate Matthijs de Ligt, who recently joined Juventus.
Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard completes the shortlist of ten players.
Neymar has been heavily linked with a move away from PSG this summer amidst suggestions that he could return to Barcelona.
