Former Kumasi Asante Asante Kotoko defender Nafiu Awudu says he is enjoying his football with Equatorial Guinean Premier League side Futuro Kings.
The experienced midfielder joined the Bata-based club on a two-year deal early this year after parting ways with the Porcupine Warriors in October 2018.
Nafiu said that he was happy with the move and he was loving the country as he sought to get to his best again.
"I signed for Futuro Kings in February and I am very happy for that. It is one of the best club's in Equatorial Guinea and we are on top of the League," Nafiu told Graphic Sports Online.
"I am glad to be back to action and may main aim for the season is to help my club qualify for the CAF Champions League. Equatorial Guimea is a beautiful country and I am enjoying my stay here."
Nafiu was a pillar at the back for AshantiGold before joining Kotoko three seasons ago. He was key at the back for the Porcupine Warriors before change in coaches affected his progress.
He is the fourth Ghanaian player in the team with the others being Leonard Tawiah, Latif Mohammed and Adam Masalachi.
