Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin – Confident of his side’s victory on Sunday

The head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Paa Kwasi Fabin says his charges are ready to take on Accra Hearts of Oak in the much anticipated clash dubbed ‘Super 2 to be staged  on Sunday, August 26 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM on Friday, August 24, Coach Fabin revealed that he was privy to some vital information about the Phobians and would use it to cause their downfall on Sunday.

“I have a lot of information about Hearts of oak concerning how they want to use Patrick Razak in the game and the kind of training regime he has been taken through. My team has been preparing since last week and we are ready for Hearts of Oak and we want to sell to our fans good football,” he said.

“The game is full of uncertainties but I am confident that we will win” he added.

Since football activities were suspended in the country following a fallout of Anas Amereyaw Anas' Number 12 expose on June 6, Coach Fabin and his players have not rested as they kept training daily and engaging in a few friendlies.

Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin and his charges recently recorded a 1-0 win over Susubiribi SC in a friendly at the Rovers Park at Old Tafo and drew 1-1 with Tanzanian side, Simba SC, in a friendly encounter at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam a fortnight ago.

He is hoping to replicate the same achievement when he leads the team to face Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
