Ex-Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari this morning made a US$2,600 cash donation to Accra Hearts of Oak players at the team's training grounds.
Sulley, who once helped Portsmouth to win the English FA Cup, was at the club's training grounds at the University of Ghana this morning to train with the club.
After the training, the 33-year-old midfielder extended the kind gesture to all the 26 players who reported for training by giving them US$100 each.
The gesture was to motivate the players who have not played club football for over a month after the government suspended all football activities in the country following the Anas Aremeyaw Anas' exposè on his #12 documentary.
Management members present at the training grounds where the donation took place expressed gratitude to the former Liberty Professionals player for the kind gesture to making the players happy.
