Manchester United are preparing an audacious raid on Tottenham for Christian Eriksen and they are planning to entice him to Old Trafford by tripling his wage.
Eriksen currently earns £80,000-a-week at Tottenham which is modest when compared to other players of his calibre in the Premier League.
United have the finances to triple Eriksen's wages to £240,000-a-week but they know Tottenham chief Daniel Levy will need to be convinced to cash in on the Dane.
The Mirror claim Eriksen is keeping his options open ahead of going into his final year of his current deal with the north London outfit.
Real Madrid, who have made Eden Hazard and Paul Pogba their main summer transfer targets, are also keeping tabs on Eriksen's contract situation.
Tottenham know they have to give Eriksen his market value in terms of wages or risk losing him on a free transfer at the end of next season.
Eriksen is a key part of Mauricio Pochettino's plans with the playmaker making 30 Premier League appearances for Tottenham during the current campaign.
The Denmark international, who has scored six Premier League goals this season, joined Tottenham from Ajax for £11.5million in 2013.
