Premier League side, Liberty Professionals, will have to find an alternative venue for their home matches following the revocation of the club's license to use use the Carl Reindorf Park at Dansoman after failing to meet some required structural specifications.

The revocation which takes immediate effect has become necessary after the club failed to meet the deadline to rectify the infrastructural challenges.

A statement by the Ghana Football Association on Monday said the club had been granted a provisional license to use the park while they rectified the defect, but during an inspection after the deadline date, it was observed that the club had not taken any steps to correct the challenges.

“This decision was taken at a meeting of the Committee held on Monday, January 20 following the Club’s inability to rectify the infrastructural challenges based on which they were granted a provisional license with conditions, failing which the license shall be withdrawn,” the statement read.

The club has been advised to reapply once they rectify the challenge and have been asked to contact the Competitions Department to pick an alternative venue.

“Liberty Professionals are therefore advised to contact the Competitions Department  of the GFA on the choice of an alternative venue from the list of approved Premier League match venues.

“The Club is also advised to reapply for a license to use the Carl Reindorf Park should they correct the defects”, he stated.
