Lawyer Samuel Sarfo Duku has tendered his resignation at Head of Administration and Lagal affairs of Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko.
The former Public Relations Officer of the Porcupine Warriors resigned from his role on Monday following reports of misunderstanding between himself and hierarchy of the club.
In a statement signed by Lawyer Sarfo Duku, the former Kotoko official described his decision to part ways with the club as a firm one and was grateful for the opportunity to serve the Kumasi-based side.
“This is to humbly inform you that effective today, the 11th day of November, 2019, I have resigned as a member of the club’s management team in charge of administration and legal affairs,” the statement read.
“I am grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to serve the greatest club of our time. I wish you and the club the best in all endeavours,” it continued.
Duku was reassigned from the club’s PRO to the head of administration some few months ago following some shake up at the club.
The club is expected to hold a crunch meeting with Coach Kjetil Zachariassen as they look to determine his fate with the club. The move is expected to affect so many positions following the team’s abysmal showing in this year’s CAF inter club competition.
