Kumasi Asante Kotoko have beefed up their squad for the CAF Confederation Cup campaign with the signing of two new players, Habib Mohammed from AshGold and an Ivorian, Dany Zabo Teguy.
The club offered the two players three years deal each with the players promising to to help the team go through a successful Africa Confederation Cup campaign.
The Ivorian import is a striker who is expected to complement Songne Yacouba, Obed Owusu and others to bang in goals for the club while defender, Mohammed will compete with the likes of Wahab Adams,Emmanuel Agyemang Badu for a defensive role.
Spokesperson for Kotoko, Samuel Sarfo Duku told Kotoko Express App that both players have been registered for the CAF Confederation Cup.
Asante Kotoko is in pursuit of continental glory in the 2018/19 Confederation Cup, and the two players would help boost to coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor's side.
The squad is expected to fly out to Ethiopia enroute to Sudan on Friday ahead of Sunday's Group C opener of the campaign.
Habib and Teguy were not part of the squad making the trip to the North African country to face Al Hilal, but may be available for selection for the side's second group game in Kumasi against Zesco United on February 10, 2019.
