Ghana international, Kevin-Prince Boateng could make his Champions League debut for Spanish giants, Barcelona in their game against Manchester United on Wednesday at Old Trafford.

The 32-year-old midfielder made it to Coach Ernesto Valvede’s 22-man squad for the first time since February 16 when he last played for the Los Blancos.

Last week it was reported that the coaches of the Catalan giants expressed disappointment in the player’s attitude towards training which further limited Kevin-Prince’s chances of playing any part in the club’s games.

This would be the second time Boateng has been named in the Champions League squad as his debut was in Barcelona’s  game against Lyon in the Round of 16 game but his role was only consigned on the bench.

This time around, he would be hoping to make his Champions League debut for the club after was substituted his previous two games for the club.

Boateng joined Barcelona from Italian side, Sassuolo in January for a six month loan deal but has failed to break into the club’s first team which has established players such as Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, among others all competiting for a place in the first team.

On the official Barcelona website, their 22-man squad is listed as follows: Ter Stegen, N. Semedo, Pique, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Todibo, Coutinho, Arthur, Suarez, Messi, O. Dembele, Cillessen, Malcolm, Lenglet, Murillo, Jordi Alba, Prince Boateng, S. Roberto, Vidal, Umtiti, Alena, Inaki Pena.
